SIZE MATTERS

In the world of architecture, design and fashion, well, size matters. Our brains interpret right proportions, symmetry and colour harmony as beautiful and pleasing to the eyes. So when you’re thinking about wedding design and styling, these concepts apply too.

When choosing your decor elements, make sure focus area are proportional and symmetric. If you are using a backdrop, make sure it’s the right size, width wise and especially high enough. Most of our arches are at least 7ft high, so shouldn’t be a problem, well except if you are a basketball player, then we can custom create for you ;)

The choice of ghost plinths, (find them here) is fine, however, the sizing is not visually pleasing. The plinth appears to be smaller, i.e, narrower than it should be. Choosing the right size creates better symmetry and even more importantly stability.

Same applies to backdrop, ensure there is some gap so everything appears proportional. And don’t forget about choosing the right table number sizes. Nobody wants to be lost looking for their tables because the table number is too small and hard to find.
